Hello! It’s Me, Adri!

Hi, I’m Adri Barnhardt, the founder of Lovingly, Adri.

For as long as I can remember, I have felt deeply. Emotions weren’t just something I experienced—they became a part of me. As a child, I absorbed every feeling I saw on screen, every emotion in the room, and carried them as my own. At first, I thought this meant I was meant to be an actor, to give these emotions a home. But as time passed, I realized that acting wasn’t enough. I wasn’t just playing a role—I was drowning in emotions with no outlet of my own. That’s when therapy changed my life.

At 15, my first boyfriend encouraged me to go to therapy, and it turned out to be the greatest gift he could have given me. Through therapy, I learned coping mechanisms, though not all of them were healthy at first. I fell into codependency, relying specifically on boys to fill the spaces I hadn’t yet learned to love within myself. As I navigated young adulthood, I felt like I was becoming a burden on those around me. Finding my worth via codependency and singing on stage, I decided the goal was Broadway.

I attended Syracuse University, where I studied Musical Theatre. I joined Delta Gamma, built beautiful friendships, and pursued what I thought was my dream. But despite all of that, I felt an overwhelming sense of unfulfillment. Therapy, self-discovery, and eventually, the realization that acting wasn’t truly my passion, helped me take a different path.

Like many, I went through my fair share of heartbreak and situationships—the kind that leave you questioning your worth. But in 2019, I made a decision that changed everything: I chose myself. Instead of pouring my energy into people who couldn’t fully receive my love, I redirected it inward. I became my own best friend. I nurtured the parts of me that I had long neglected, and in doing so, I transformed my life.

That transformation led me to coaching. I founded Lovingly, Adri as a space where others could feel the same level of love, understanding, and support that I once craved. My coaching approach is built on warmth, deep listening, and meaningful action. I believe that true growth happens in spaces of compassion, and my mission is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and unconditional self-love.
